About Us

My name is Irene Burns. My husband, Nick, and I live on 24 acres in Victoria.

I started my breeding program in the Hunter Valley in 1990 until 2012.

In 2012 we relocated to Victoria in the Mount Alexander area on a lovely 24 acre property. This large propery had previously been Greyhound kennels, so I only need to make changes for my Rottweilers to have very long dog runs that needed large kennels added, to enable me to lock up the dogs at night to satisfy council regulations.

We also have have eighteen indoor kennels for smaller dogs, which are just too small for Rottweilers that I don't use, two larger runs with very large kennels that look like flats, another two runs that were previously stables with a very large area for the dogs to run, plus a large dam! Doggy heaven!

We are only just over an hour from Bulla and 40 minutes from Bendigo, so I am still able to enjoy breeding, showing and will be starting Obedience in 2015.

After the Fire
After the Fire
The photos above show our kennels in the Hunter Valley after a fire went through our property. Fortunately, we use fire and heat resistant materials for our kennels, which contributed to keeping our dogs safe during this disaster.
